The software supports approximately 447 colors available on the market according to the DMC color standard for Diamond Painting! • DMC Diamond Color Palette: ~447 colors • Artkal Mini: ~159 colors • Artkal Midi: ~158 colors • Hama: All essential base colors • MiniSteck: 30 colors • Lego Mosaic: 42 colors You can easily print the template yourself. With double-sided adhesive sheets available from craft stores, you can turn your printout into a self-adhesive template. Alternatively, use simple craft glue in small trays to coat the back of your diamonds and then attach them to your printout. The template follows the familiar layout of Diamond Painting kits or cross-stitch kits. A detailed legend lists all the required colors and the quantity of diamonds or bags needed for your project. Extensive Customization Options

Of course, you can reduce the number of colors as desired. In many cases, 80 to 110 colors are more than enough to create a beautiful diamond image. In the ADV and PRO version of ORTMANN Pixel Art Designer©, you can also customize the palette, for example, by limiting it to specific colors you already have in stock. This ensures that only the colors you own are used.

Printing with Endless Possibilities

The printing function has been specially enhanced for Diamond Painting. Countless combinations and customization options are available: • Adjust the size of the diamonds in the printout. • Print round/square diamond backgrounds. • Print gaps as white or colored. • Customize symbols, grids, rulers, legends, and more. The number of diamonds and package counts is calculated based on your specifications. For complex templates, you can even automatically generate indexes, your company information, or a complete stitching booklet. For private use, the ADV version is usually more than sufficient to meet the highest standards. :) The PRO version offers significant benefits for commercial users, such as: • Integrating your own logo. • Adding banners with social media information. • Printing additional informational pages. You can print in any large format supported by your printer or driver, export as a PDF using MS Print to PDF or other tools, and export as JPEG, TIFF, and other pixel formats.

A Wizard to Assist You

A step-by-step wizard guides you through the process of converting a photo, helping you save time. You can make all the key adjustments right away, such as: • The maximum number of desired colors. • The number of diamonds in width and height. • The size of the image in millimeters. • Contrast adjustments. • Cropping the image, • Dithering, and more.

Manual Editing/Drawing

The ORTMANN Pixel Art Designer © includes extensive tools for manual editing or, if desired, for creating an image entirely from scratch. With these tools, you can: • Replace colors. • Remove rarely used colors. • Remove or recolor the background. • Add text to your image.

Library/Palettes

A built-in library allows you to save and reuse image elements you frequently use, such as hearts or stars, which can serve as borders or patterns in your designs. Multiple color palettes for all common techniques and colors are included. In the ADV and PRO versions, these palettes can also be modified and expanded—or limited to the colors you already own or prefer.
